Agency Leadership

Steve Henry is one of the founders of American Church Group of Minnesota. He’s served as our agency’s president for nearly 10 years.  After college, Steve went to seminary and earned his Master of Divinity degree. He served on a church pastoral staff for 10 years, where he initiated faith-based community outreach ministries for low-income individuals.

In 1989, Steve became a ministry insurance professional. He began by insuring churches in the Mid-Atlantic States. In 1999, Steve led a team of insurance professionals on a new endeavor that focused on providing insurance solutions to churches and related ministries in North Carolina. This initiative led to the creation of American Church Group of North Carolina. In 2008, Steve decided to replicate that same initiative and established American Church Group of Minnesota.

Today, Steve leads a large team of insurance professionals that serve more than 5,500 churches and related ministries along the East Coast and in Minnesota.

“Our priority is to support the work of the local church and advance the Kingdom of God,” says Steve. “Our culture of health, excellence, professionalism, insurance knowledge, and integrity help us do that.”
